Phil is a solicitor (currently non-practising) and acts as the General Counsel to the Group. He spent 10 years in private practice with a Jersey headquartered firm specialising in commercial dispute resolution. Prior to joining Rockmount, Phil worked as the General Counsel for a Dubai based single-family office, providing legal coverage to the board and beneficiaries of the family’s wealth structures.

Philip has been a serial entrepreneur for over 50 years, having founded and run businesses across many sectors including property, building products, finance and financial services.

John has over 30 years experience in the finance industry. He started his working career at Kleinwort Benson and Coopers & Lybrand before joining Collins Stewart where he spent 10 years building up the Wealth Management division. He co-founded Sancus - a secured lender - which was sold to GLI Finance. John remained a Director of various Sancus entities until 2021.

Dean spent his initial years in practice before moving into the finance industry in Jersey, particularly in trust and company management and private wealth. He has been Group Financial Controller for Vistra, a global independent wealth management group. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Syd Taylor has over 30 years of experience in real estate, banking, private equity, and fund management across the UK and internationally. Having held director-level positions at prestigious firms such as ING Real Estate, Land Securities Trillium, Goldman Sachs, Alpha Real Capital, and Great Portland Estates, Syd is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He was formerly a non-executive director on the board of three real estate funds managed by Brockton Capital and is currently a non executive director of Sage Homes - the largest for-profit provider of social housing in the UK.

Lisa initially worked for an AIM listed retail company as a Management Accountant. She then worked for a Jersey regulated fund services business as a Senior Relationship Manager, administering listed funds, private equity structures and UK property development Trusts. Lisa is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
